At this year’s Patmos Music Festival, legendary filmmaker Bruno Monsaingeon – celebrated for his intimate and insightful portraits of the world’s greatest musicians – will engage in a captivating conversation with pianist Roberto Prosseda. From his groundbreaking collaborations with Glenn Gould to his moving films on Sviatoslav Richter and beyond, Monsaingeon has redefined how we experience classical music on screen. Together, they will explore the art and challenges of filming musicians, offering unique behind-the-scenes perspectives, and present selected excerpts from Monsaingeon’s most recent documentaries.
