Olive Wetter

**Olive Emil Wetter** (b. 1980, Bern) is a Swiss pianist, piano teacher, and psychologist.
He began piano lessons at the age of four and a half. In 1997, he enrolled at the Bern University of the Arts, where he studied in the masterclass of Bruno Canino and graduated with diplomas in both music education and concert performance. During his studies, he also received chamber music instruction from Jörg Ewald Dähler, among others. In 2003, alongside a guest semester at the University of Music and Drama in Hanover with Martin Dörrie, he began studying psychology, psychopathology, and English at the University of Zurich.
Wetter has won awards as both a soloist and chamber musician in competitions in Bern, Zurich, and Basel. He has performed under conductors such as Marc Kissóczy and Jürg Wyttenbach. His chamber music partners include Bettina Sartorius of the Berlin Philharmonic and Paul Moser, former concertmaster of the Bern Symphony Orchestra. He actively promotes interdisciplinary projects, collaborating with media personalities such as Kurt Aeschbacher and Nina Havel.
To date, he has released five CDs, including a recording of *Winterreise* and several world premiere recordings of works by contemporary Swiss composers.
