Known as one of the most active guitarist from his generation, Antoine Moriniere is invited to play solo concerts and concertos all around the world. He performed in many countries like France (Philharmonie de Paris), Canada, Greece, Cyprus, Thaïland, China, Nepal, Jordan (Amman Roman Theater) Morocco (Fez World Sacred Music Festival) England (Wigmore Hall, King’s Place) Ireland, Belgium (Bozar Festival), Poland, Finland, Estonia, Netherlands, Portugal (Casa de Musica), Romania, Spain (Palau de la Musica), Germany (BachFest Leipzig), Italy, Austria, Hungary, Montenegro, Croatia, Czech Republic, Danemark, Switzerland.
During his career, Antoine has played in chamber music with phenomenal artists such as Thibaut Garcia, Philippe Bernold, Raphaël Sévère, Manon Galy, Marianne Piketty, Fatma Saïd, Hanna Salzenstein, Joséphine Olech, Raphaël Feuillatre, Gabriel Bianco.
Interested in contemporary music, he collaborates with several composers like the japanese composer Rikako Watanabe, Raphaël Sévère, Léo Brouwer, Jean Frédéric Neuburger.
15 years ago, Antoine started to play in a guitar duo with Thibaut Garcia. They played baroque music from Bach, Couperin, Rameau, Scarlatti in multiple concerts. In 2020 the started a new transcription of the Goldberg Variations for 2 guitars with special instrument made for it. The album has been recorded for the Warner company in 2025.
He also started a new project “Labyrinthe Baroque” with the Iranian mezzo soprano Anousha Nazari mixing the sound of ancient occidental music from Haendel and Strozzi with old oriental poetry from Rûmi andMaraghi.
Always looking for new repertoire, Antoine started to play with world music artists such as Sami Yusuf, Ballaké Cissoko, Nabyla Man, Guo Gan, Jose Manuel Leon, in several places such as the “World sacred music festival” in Fès (Morocco) or the “Tanweer Festival” in UAE or Yenikapi in Istanbul in front of 70000 people in the audience.
